The Spinning Top: Keep Spinning

Evgeny Fleysher · 11 July 2026

They say that to be “rich” you do not need to be clever — being energetic is enough. This chapter is about exactly that. Watch how energetic people behave: their efficiency lies in making as many moves as possible in a roughly understood direction, with a desire for the result — and then somewhere, somehow, something will spin out in their favour. And notice the same word from the other side: when a person is wrong but badly wants to be right, they start to wriggle — spinning their way out of circumstances they themselves created on the way to their goal. The most interesting part is that, wriggling through a situation created en route, they often close in on the goal faster: that is space talking to them.

By nature, people already carry the ability to be a spinning top — to keep a balanced position through the centrifugal effect. Look at what happens in a heavy, unstable state: a person loses their footing exactly when their top slows down — it starts tipping to one side, then the other. A top does not know how to stand still slowly: it needs speed. And that speed can be gathered with consciousness.

A top stands straight only while it spins.

Spin up to levitation

Now for the physics of a dream. If a top gathers speed beyond its mass and stability, it begins to levitate relative to the other circumstances in space. To lift off, you have to spin yourself up so that you cannot be slowed down or thrown off course — so that your axis of rotation cannot be tilted. Then you no longer have to interact with surfaces at all: you rise above everything and begin forming a new space around you, one that runs by your laws. Wherever you go, the “magnetic field” of your top goes with you.

That field affects whatever enters it: an unspun top next to a spinning one will, after a few touches, start to spin itself. You know such people — everyone around them begins to move. Only something denser can break such a field — a wall. But even a wall may not shake the top if it has an invisible cushion that keeps it from colliding with the obstacle. The faster you spin, the larger the field grows and the smaller your felt mass becomes. And the larger the field, the higher you rise.

Doubt is a tilt of the axis. So spin.

Where the speed comes from

Speed depends on absolute confidence in your own thinking. You spin yourself up when you understand what you are doing and where you are moving, and there are no stray factors leading you into doubt — because doubt is precisely a tilt of the axis. But being merely energetic is not enough: your energy must also be high-frequency. And for that you must be able to generate it yourself — to think about the fact that you need energy, and to know what it is for and where it is going.

The beginning is always heavy: a flywheel turns very slowly at first. The passage from doing nothing to being energetic is the most expensive stretch of the road, and most people quit exactly here, mistaking the weight of the first turns for “not my thing”. Hold on: the spin-up has a point after which the field starts working for you.

Imagine your life as a spinning top. Right now it is either gathering speed or tipping over — a top has no third state. Do you feel what you want and what you love? Then spin.

To lift off, spin up until nothing can knock you off your axis.
