Evgeny Dmitrievich Fleysher. Born in 1986 in Saint Petersburg into a family of architects. In 2008 he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) and the North-West Academy of Public Administration; later he took up radar and radio navigation and founded his own engineering company — this became the rational, precise side of his path.
Alongside his engineering practice ran a study of alchemy, sacred geometry and metaphysics. At the meeting point of these two worlds his own philosophy was born: the technical mind meets a deep knowledge of the human being and is carried onto the canvas as precisely measured constructions — circles, axes and proportions that hold every composition together.
Today Evgeny paints, takes part in Russian and international exhibition projects, and works on books in which the visual and the verbal languages complement one another.
Evgeny's project “The Art of Healing” starts from something simple: art should change a person's state, not decorate a wall. The paintings were made as illustrations to both of the author's books and are built on sacred geometry — an instrument through which the soul engages with the Source. Each work carries its own state and returns it to whoever lives beside it.
Evgeny's works have been recognised at international exhibitions — Art Expo in China and the Russian Art Week — and are held at the Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art. Evgeny is a member of the Eurasian Art Union, membership card No. 1907.
