The Secret

Work for the article “The Secret” (letter С) in the book “The Spiritual Alphabet”.

At the center of "The Secret" is a human brain lit by the light of time. It does not belong to a body. It has been lifted out and raised into a space where it becomes a symbol, a question.

It is held by figures, each of which is not simply a person but an aspect of observation: the scientist, the guide, the child. They do not worship — they take part in an act of transmission. Of knowledge? Of consciousness? Of responsibility? What is the secret of how matter takes form?

The brain is surrounded by an oval — the symbol of a portal, an egg, a zero. It is not just a shape but a boundary between worlds: the visible and the hidden, the bodily and the eternal.

This work offers no answer. It demands a question:
If consciousness can be passed on — who holds it?
If it is outside the body — by whom is it known?

The viewer is not an observer.
You are a participant.
Because perhaps you are not looking at the painting.
It is looking at you.
