Deception

"Deception is presenting one thing as another." The same information can be both deception and truth at once: everything is decided by what each viewer knows. The work is about the fine line between a lie, a change of viewpoint, and self-deception — which creates only a temporary illusion of comfort. Built on sacred geometry, the painting holds attention on one question: am I looking at reality — or at the comfortable story I have told myself?
