The Ego

Illustration to chapter 6 “Ego” of the book “Why?” (Alpina PRO, 2024).

"The ego is an indicator of the direction of a person's spiritual growth." E. Fleysher

The painting depicts a person with transparent flesh, so that you can see the concentration of energies while the ego — an inborn system of protection and achievement — is at work. The painting shows that the ego can protect and can lead to success. But it is worth remembering that the ego runs on energies of low frequency. For the ego to work for the good, it must work under the guidance of the soul.
