The Secret Is a Feeling, Not a Thing

Evgeny Fleysher · 11 July 2026

Listen closely to the word “secret”. We say “the secret of success”, “the secret of mastery”, “he has a secret” — as if it were a hidden object that can be found, bought or copied. But pay close attention to what people call a secret, and something strange opens up: by itself the word means nothing. It has no logical development; it describes no process. It describes a feeling — the one you experience against the background of a desire that arises with certain thoughts. When we want to do something, we always understand why we want it. The desire to experience a specific feeling from an action — that is the secret of creation. The very feeling that leads us to the realisation of our thoughts.

There is a secret in everything — in creating, sensing, thinking, acting, analysing. Understanding the secret of what you want to grasp, you understand what you will feel — and whether you need it at all. It works like an assay of authenticity: not “what will I get”, but “what will I feel, and is that feeling mine”.

Knowing your own secret, you know what to do.

A joker up your sleeve

How do you find your secret? Find something unique in yourself — something only you have and that you like in yourself: a trait of character, a behavioural signature, a way of seeing. Having recognised that uniqueness, do not devalue it — imprint it in your consciousness. That is how you create your secret. The more often you remember it and hold your attention on it, the more use it brings in any situation. Remembering your secret is like knowing you always have a joker up your sleeve. You must remember — and be proud.

And then you can create a secret out of a secret. You already know which next “joker” you will like — so create it: appraise yourself in this or that situation, with this or that behaviour, and assemble a new behavioural scenario out of it. This is how all secrets are formed — and they all add up to one big one: the ability to create the feeling you desire. Not to wait for circumstances to hand it to you. To create it.

The one big secret is the ability to create the feeling you desire.

Why it cannot be shared

It matters to know: you cannot share your secret with anyone — and not because you should be secretive. Each person’s secret is unique, and division as such is impossible: only the creation of the new is possible. Cutting a pie in half, we do not divide it — we create two new parts, two pies. So your secret, told to another, will not become his secret: from those words a feeling of his own will be born in him — or none at all.

And the deepest layer. The secret is the understanding that in every person there is God, a creator. And the secret of divinity is to create without altering. Not to remake the world and people to fit yourself, but to create the new — out of your own feeling, out of your own state.

When a person comes to understand his secret, goals are reached faster, desires begin to come true — and often a feeling of gratitude arrives. People thank the Universe, God, the Cosmos — it does not matter whom. Notice the order: if something is working out for you, it means you have already given thanks. Gratitude always goes ahead of the result — it is already included in it. So do not look for other people’s secrets of success. You have your own, and you are the only one who can create it.

Gratitude always goes ahead of the result.
