Background: The Canvas Beneath Your Event

Every event has its preconditions and its aftertaste. Every painting has a visual background, every person a vibrational one, every electrical impulse a radio-frequency one. And every mood has an emotional background — the mood can be good while the background is not, and the other way round. Any new event you build in your life will give off a background of some kind. The only question is which.

Since everything we want to create, receive or feel has a background, the task is single: the background must match what you intend to do. For me the easiest way to explain this is through craft. The background is the canvas you paint on. If the canvas is thin and slack, it will not take much paint: it will sag or begin to show through. Your background must be strong, dense and matched to the frequencies of the “painting” you are creating — visual and vibrational alike.

What a background is made of

A person’s energetic background is made of thoughts. If you want to make someone more confident, change their thinking, not their posture: they must become unshakeable in their thoughts. Watch how the strength drains away: the moment one thought is set against another, it seems as if there was no thought at all — while in fact twice the energy has been spent. Being unshakeable is unconditional, absolute belief in what you are doing. The moment you believe in your work, you have already begun to create the background — before creating any event or any space.

Space, by the way, can be a background too — because the event will inevitably lie within it. You walk into a place with loud music where everyone is shouting, and you want stillness — you will not find it there: that event cannot be created in that space. If you vibrate with one set of values and step into a place opposed to them, expecting swans on a lake, you create a dissonance in your own brain, which cannot understand why you are doing this. When you create a space, match it to the event you intend to produce in it.

Believe in what you are doing, and you are already creating the background — before the event exists.

Attention shows on the painting

When you “paint” your “picture”, the background is done, and the attention must be on the painting itself. Anyone who walks up and looks should see where your attention was concentrated: it should be clear to everyone what you want. And that is only possible if you understand it yourself. Then the most interesting part begins — you attract the frequencies that correspond to you energetically: the people needed for the process. Everything moves fast and efficiently.

The reverse side is just as honest: if you do not understand what you want, you will be thrown from person to person and drained — because all of us are in someone’s field one way or another, and a connection forms in any case.

So a confident background is made of three questions: where you are going; why — specifically in the material world; and how it will affect your spiritual development. Which spaces you create, what you feed your mind and what you feed your soul. Answer them — and the canvas will hold any paint.

A painting shows where your attention was. So does a life.
